Art and design has always called to Raquel Alotis. Seventeen years ago she started a screen printing company.  In 2015, she was shocked to see the hate surfacing throughout our country.  Dismayed by the shameless prejudice, she combined her screen printing knowledge with her passion for her community and the Fifty50 journey began.

She collaborated with her wife, Nichole Hanchett, to craft a brand to inspire the return of the kinder, more accepting world they thought they lived in.  A brand for the LGBTQIA+ people and their supporters that would unite the community, enhance confidence, and encourage optimism.   

In their pursuit, they discovered that even though everyone respects the symbolism of a rainbow, not everyone feels comfortable or safe wearing them.  So, they set out to create apparel that had a subtle, yet strong message that could be worn anywhere to spread the message of equality everywhere.  Clean, modern design, with next level quality and comfort that could infiltrate every community, state, and sector of our society.  A constant reminder that love is truly love and equality does matter.
